There's a reason that Super Bowl ads cost millions of dollars. A lot of eyes will be on televisions on Sunday afternoon. Please send the link about the Peter King, Steve Gleason ALS coverage to everyone you know... email, facebook walls, tweets,... and ask others to pass the word along, too. This is a great ALS awareness opportunity that can be even greater if we all spread the word.

Latest reports on twitter are that the segment will run on the NBC pregame show around 4:37 pm EST.
Pics have posted on Team Gleason facebook page. They had dinner with Peter King of SI on Friday night. Yesterday they were at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Drew Brees and IndyCar driver Graham Rahal. You can tell that Steve Gleason is just loved by his NFL brothers.

For so many years we've seen Super Bowl Sunday pass by without any kind of media splash about ALS. That has been frustrating given all of the NFL connections. Today it is finally happening!

That was a very good 'awareness raising' video.

Just on another point, I sometimes get late night phone calls asking for contributions to cancer research but I have never had a MND related phone call. Neurodegeneration, in all its forms, does not seem to touch the right nerve in the UK.
