Most here do not pay much attention to Jim Humble, however this may be bigger than that.
FDA is moving to make MMS a drug.

If the FDA wins this case, it would result in a horrible precedent by an uninformed court’s determination that MMS and sodium chlorite are “drugs” subject to regulatory oversight, and Daniel and others may go to prison for a very long time.

I'm just the messenger , thought it may be important

ALS is a terminal illness so if I decide to take something then no regulation on earth is going to stop me doing what I think best for me - 'F' em and any government in my way.

Into the heart, an air that kills, from yon far country blows.
What are those blue remembered hills, what sphires what farms are those.
That is the land of lost content,I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went and cannot come again

Greetings:

Given that I am a Canadian citizen, I can only add a few remarks from a friendly northern neigbour.

1. The increasing large number of PALS who use DIY techniques suggests that their efforts should be taken seriously by the various powers-that-be. My interpretation of « taking seriously » excludes the inacceptable treatment that some in the FDA seems to be inflicting on Mr. Daniel Smith.

2. The FDA's record with DIY treatments is far from stellar. They have effectively restricted (but not prevented) access to Lorenzo's Oil by studying it for 50+ years.

3. From the point of view of the powers-that-be, the many posts concerning Sodium Chlorite's efficacity are « anecdotal ». My impression is that many PALS are discovering that the « anecdotes » are well worth « reading ».

4. PALS who are courageous enough to try Sodium Chlorite and generous enough to post the pertinent details deserve support. The apparent Jack-boot-like response of the FDA does not qualify as support.

I would thus hope that:

A. American citizens who participate in this forum would follow up by contacting the FDA to express their views on the acceptability of the legal action the FDA has initiated against Mr. Daniel Smith.

B. Any participant having (free) access to legal counsel (friend, family member or in-law) would have an appropriately worded petition posted so that care givers (one for US citizens and one for non-US citizens) could forward their views to the FDA.

C. American citizens versed in the art of Twittering would join the fray.

Best Wishes and Good Luck,

Gocurcama

My perspective is a little different...

Project Greenlife sold MMS and advertised Jim Humbles claims that it would cure any illness known to man. With each bottle sold directions for use were included.

Unfortunately some people got sick following the directions and complained.

The FDA stepped in and asked for a recall and stated that the product was not suitable for its instructed use and had not been approved for curing all illnesses.

Daniel issued a "voluntary" recall, then informed the FDA that he was going to continue selling MMS and providing information, but was going to do so through private club membership.

I am not sure that is the outcome the FDA had in mind, so they are throwing the book at him for is previous sales and labeling instructions.

I am not sure how this is going to turn out, but the vitamin "O" trial of the mid 1980's comes to mind. Those people were fined something like $350000.00 and told to stop making non FDA approved claims.

As a side note you can still purchase vitamin "O" but have to figure out the directions for use on your own.

This is Daniel and Project GreenLife did not do as suggested in Tom's post and people did not get sick following directions given by Project GreenLife.

Tom, have we ever spoken? You seem to have "information" I don't even have.

Kindly understand it may be a great detriment to my life and the life of my family to publish "perspectives" stated as fact which are not firsthand factual knowledge.

Anyone who wants facts may contact me personally. Thank you everyone for your support. It means the world to us.

Daniel and family.

Hello Daniel,

First of all I hope you fair better than Rose Creek did in their battle with the FDA.

My perspective is based upon what was shown to me by others that ordered from you when you started out. I was surprised at the information bundled with the sodium chlorite, and it reminded me of the Vitamin O battle. I had some of the Rose Creek product and actually ran some tests to see if you were just re-bottling their product.

As far as people getting sick goes, the people promoting MMS view nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea as a sign of healing. Others view those adverse side effects as a sign of chemical poisoning.

Tom
